This interactive workshop is intended to help develop the management skills and knowledge of  Managers in Small Businesses

 

OBJECTIVES:

To provide managers with an understanding of finance from a non-financial management perspective.

Examination of the manager’s role in aspects of procurement and utilisation of resources.

CONTENT:

  • Aspects of profit & loss
  • Setting up and managing budgets
  • Submitting financial proposals for expenditure
  • Financial forecasting
  • Submitting proposals to obtain physical resources
  • Influencing others to gain resources
  • Justifying a case for resources
  • Evaluation of the subsequent use of resources
