DURATION:

Two stand alone days

TARGET AUDIENCE:

This interactive workshop is intended to help develop the management skills and knowledge of  Managers in Small Businesses

 

OBJECTIVES:

To apply strategic planning in the process of organisational development
To examine the nature of organisations, and their potential for growth

CONTENT:

Day One

·         An awareness of tools and techniques available

  • Practice in applying these tools and techniques
  • Organisational visioning – i.e. what the future may hold
  • Scenario planning
  • Setting strategic direction

Day Two

·         The organisation and its environment

  • Methodologies for analysing organisations
  • Consider using a sub systems approach in reviewing organisations
  • Models of organisational growth
  • Culture within organisations
